As a student driver of Sky Driving School Ltd., I have read and agree to the following terms
I am physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to undertake the driving lessons, and that my present driver's license is valid for driving in BC, Canada for the duration of my driving lessons.
Sky Driving School Ltd. is providing the service of driving lessons under the BC Laws and with professionally qualified driving instructors. These services provided by Sky Driving School Ltd. do not include the Road Tests that I shall be undertaking at any stage of these trainings.
I declare that I hold harmless Sky Driving School Ltd., its directors, shareholders, their heirs, employees, and contractors of and from all claims, demand, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or relating to any disputes arising out of any lawfully provided services.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
48 Hours Notice Required
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in a $50 cancellation fee. This fee applies to all circumstances, including short-notice cancellations due to illness.
72 Hours Notice Required
If Sky Driving School Ltd. booked your road test, we require 72 hours notice to cancel. This allows us to notify ICBC and avoid the student being charged an additional $25 ICBC cancellation fee.
Booking Restrictions Apply
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling, even with proper notice, may result in restrictions on future bookings. This includes requiring prepayment for all lessons, limiting the number of active bookings, or suspension of booking privileges.
Important: Repeated Cancellation Policy
Sky Driving School Ltd. reserves the right to hold or cancel existing bookings and decline future reservations for students with a pattern of repeated cancellations. This policy exists to ensure fair access to lesson availability for all students.
Late Arrivals
Within 10 Minutes Late
You will receive the balance of your scheduled lesson time and be charged for the full lesson.
More Than 10 Minutes Late
The instructor will leave and the lesson will be recorded as a NO SHOW. No refund or reschedule will be provided for that lesson.
Refund Policy
There will be no refund for driving lessons or road test sessions that have already taken place.
Refunds will be paid for unused lessons provided notice is received by Sky Driving School Ltd. 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. The cancellation fee will apply to refunds requested within 48 hours of a scheduled lesson.
Processing fees of $25 will be applied to any refund.
Requirements & Procedures
Students must provide a valid BC Learner's Drivers License or Driving licence before any lesson. Students must carry their licence at all times during training.
All students have to be registered and paid in advance and no later than the first lesson.
Sky Driving School Ltd. may cancel your scheduled appointment for any unforeseen circumstances. For example, an instructor being sick, car breaking down, or poor road conditions. Students will be notified as soon as possible. The lesson will be rescheduled.
All lessons will be individual, one-on-one unless both the instructor and student agree to additional persons being in the car, and their reason for being there. There will be a maximum of 3 people (1 observing) in the Sky Driving School Ltd. vehicle during the student's lesson time.
Sky Driving School Ltd. can cancel your lesson with NO refunds if the student is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or using foul, abusive, or aggressive language.
Each driving lesson is scheduled for 90 minutes, with 80 minutes dedicated to actual practice driving time and an additional 10 minutes reserved for feedback.
Each driving lesson is scheduled for 60 minutes, with 50 minutes dedicated to actual practice driving time and an additional 10 minutes reserved for feedback.
We ask that you dress comfortably in footwear and clothing that lets you move freely. All lessons are recorded with video and audio. This protects both you and your instructor and is kept strictly for liability and insurance purposes.
Privacy & Data Disclosure: Sky Driving School Ltd. is committed to protecting your personal information under the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We collect your name, contact details, and Driver's License number solely for training and road test booking purposes. As a licensed driver training school under the Motor Vehicle Act (Division 27), we are required by law to share student information, training records, and progress data with ICBC upon their request. We do not share your information with any other third parties without your written consent.
Payment Security & Data Collection: Sky Driving School Ltd. uses Square for all card transactions. We do not store full credit card numbers on our local systems; all financial data is encrypted and managed by Square in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
Student Records: In accordance with ICBC's Division 27 regulations, we collect and maintain records of student identity and training progress. These records are stored securely and are only disclosed to ICBC upon their official request. By providing your information, you consent to this collection for the purpose of professional driver training and licensing coordination.
Gift Card Terms and Conditions
Sky Driving School Ltd. e-gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase for driving lessons only.
The dollar value of the e-gift certificate does not expire. However, the price is locked in for one year from the date of purchase. After one year, if our lesson prices have increased, the current rate will apply and the recipient will be responsible for paying the difference via E-Transfer before booking.
The e-gift certificate applies only to the standard lesson package purchased. It cannot be used toward road test car rental, road test packages, or any other service not included in the original package.
The e-gift certificate cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred to another student. It is valid only for the recipient named on the certificate.
Lessons in Langford, Colwood and Saanichton require an additional $30 per lesson added to each booking. This applies when redeeming an e-gift certificate for lessons in these areas.
Sky Driving School Ltd. reserves the right to refuse redemption of an e-gift certificate if the terms and conditions are not met or if the certificate cannot be verified.
